San Francisco To-Dos:
1. Golden Gate Bridge bike ride: see my previous post :)
2. Fisherman's Wharf & Pier 39
San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf is heaven for sea food lovers - and I mean Heaven with big H. It is the northern waterfront area of the city, and it is filled with little stands serving just caught fish and fresh sea food and equal number of restaurants. To me, the main attraction of Fisherman's Wharf is Pier 39, which is full of games, attractions, more restaurants, life music, and sea lions sighting spots.
Tip: In the summer, go there in the evening. With fairy lights, light music and less people, there you will feel like in a movie. Plus, it is the perfect date spot. b
Once the most feared prison in the US, and home to criminals of Al Capone's stays, now a tourist attraction. After a short ferry ride, you have the chance to visit the cells and hear stories of men whose life-stories still make cover with goosebumps.
4. Cable Car & Union Square
Let your legs rest (which you will most certainly need walking up and down the hill covered down :) ) and take a cable car (its a San Francisco - must after all ;) ) from Fisherman's Wharf to Union Square. In the square, you can shop till you drop and sneak our for a snack to the adjacent Chinatown.
