San Francisco, Sausalito, Tiburon. Golden Gate Bridge bike ride.
The Golden Gate Bridge bike ride
If the weather is nice and you are feeling sporty a day long bike ride from San Francisco (Golden Gate Park) -> Sausalito -> Tiburon is an absolute must. The trip starts at Golden Gate Bridge, on the other side of which you can see the most amazing view of the city (and take very cool pictures, haha ;) ). Few miles behind the bridge Sausalito is a small beach town, which is so beautiful that it looks like a postcard from Côte d’Azur. It renders itself as the perfect lunch (and seal - watching!) spot. If you did not spend too much time sipping rose by the Sausalito's pier (hmmmm... might or might not be speaking from personal experience here ;) ) and still have adventure in you, (it is a 10 mile long ride!) you can continue down the Richardson Bay coast (you will be tired by the views are amazing :) ) and arrive at Tiburon. It is a small historic beach town, with pictures downtown, similar to a mini-Brighton-lanes. By the time I got to Tiburon was already late, so I rushed to the pier to catch the last ferry to SF, but at the pier there is a very nice Yacht Club with outside seating facing the ocean. It seems like the perfect place to drink a warm tea after the day long ride. : )
